EX Long Islander
I think the most unrealistic prediction, is all 5 playing all 48 games. There are going to be a lot of minor injuries league wide this season (pulled groins ex..). I can def see 4-5 gms missed by most of them.

Sure, why not ? Each year he gets incrementally better point wise

Rookie 54 points
2nd year 67 points (13 point increase)
3rd year 81 points (14 point increase)

Even if he followed suit and increased his total by 15 points, that would have been 96 points. 99 is only 3 points difference. I think with his offseason improvements, and his strong play in Switzerland, he might get off to a strong start.

I think he stays at a point per game pace this season. give or take a point or 3

I did top 7.5, like the Amish, I do everything 50% better than the rest of you!

John Tavares 48 21 35 56
Matt Moulson 48 20 18 38
Mark Streit 48 7 28 35
Kyle Okposo 48 14 19 33
Brad Boyes 48 15 18 33
Frans Nielsen 48 9 20 29
Michael Grabner 48 19 10 29
Josh Bailey

I also think Visnovsky may outscore Streit - oh wait, he might get injured crossing his fingers on his way to the airport, while hoping he "makes his flight"

Tavares 25-30-55
Okposo 16-25-41
Moulson 20-20-40
Streit 8-22-30
Bailey 15-15-30

^ This with the exception of Bailey. he is out for a month to start with so I am hoping for something like 12-14-26 being good.

JT is going to light it up.

Damn I love Tavares and think is one of the best players in the NHL, but with the team around him some of his point predictions are really high imo....

I cant put a number on it, but I would say he will be a ppg or a bit better this year....

Wow, big year for Boyes ! I hope you're right.

I expect Boyes to make it to JT's wing, so he should have a great year. But frankly, even on the second line with Nielsen/Bailey OR Nielsen/Grabner or Grabner/Bailey or Strome in some way. He's an offensive player that, in the right situation, can produce offense. He had 55pts two years ago, split between BUF/STL and was a +13, highest of all forwards.

Long Island, the city of second (and third and fourth) chances (Schremp, Tambi, Grabner, Parenteau, Boyes, many more). Where all is forgiven (Nabokov, Visnovsky soon) and patience is tested and re-tested for decades (playoffs? DiPietro).

The stars are aligning for Boyes. It's up to him. He's come to camp in great shape and has said all the right things so far. I think he'll be with players that mesh perfectly with Boyes' skill-set.

He's just really good. I think he had 55pts in his last 48 NHL games, to end last year and he's just getting better and better. This could be his breakout year, although I'd say last year he was spectacular, far more than the numbers showed.

He's starting to get recognition around the league. He was 20th in the TSN's list of best players and could have been higher if any of these guys watched him play last year (more than a game or two).

Should they all play 48:

Tavares 18-33-51
Moulson 20-16-36
Okposo 14-21-35
Streit 6-25-31
Nielsen 8-21-29
Grabner 16-9-25
Bailey 11-13-24
Boyes 9-12-21

Niederreiter 11-8-19
Strome 5-11-16

I think that Boyes' and Okposo's numbers will depend alot on whom of them gets to play with JT and MM.
