Johnston, his skating and puckhandling ability intrigues me. He needs to work on other areas of his game to make it, but he has some skills.

He should be much higher on the list imo.

I even think he has more potential than Lindgren and Fucale.

And I have zero hope for De La Rose to somehow develop an offensive game, that he never had even at the world juniors or the AHL.

it's hard to say about DLR. He's been playing with men since he was 17 pretty much. Plus every time he would get the tiniest of point streaks going he'd get called up.

I might be alone but I thought he was getting better near the end of his call up. Danault was setting him up pretty regularly. He couldn't cash in but they were quality chances. He seemed to create more for himself.

I know those 3 goals in his last 4 games are a really tiny sample size but those were goal scorer's goals. I was shocked myself. It looked like he was working on his shot. People have to remember if he wasn't European that his rookie pro year would've been last year.

I don't know how much his offense will develop but I think he can at least be a really good bottom 6er for us. As much as I am optimistic, he absolutely has to show a big leap in his development this year if he's still to be taken seriously as a prospect.
