Voted for Cal Heeter.

I know he is no top-end talent, probably not even mid range..but by the end of last season he was the Phantoms' starter, had his cup of coffee as the 3rd goalie for team USA and has at least shown something yet.

Konan next.

Gouldbourne? This dude may not even ever become a regular in the AHL unless he works very very hard on his deficits.

Yeah, with his speed, toughness, character, strength and decent hands, along with his PK ability. general competitiveness and the respect and support of the team's scouting staff, he's got not shot. :shakehead

I voted Goulborne because it seems like the Flyers have a specific plan for him to contribute in the future. Although, Konan is sort of getting screwed here becuase he actually played in the NHL as a 21 year old and looked decent. So, it feel like he should have a spot.

I vote to keep the poll going until 25.

Konan looked not bad in his call up. He might play in the NHL someday, but probably not with the Flyers. When you are that far down the depth chart, you need to really improve to move up. He might. As always, with all our prospects, I hope he makes the team, and wins the Calder, Norris and Conn Smythe. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Goulbourne has a shot. He played on the PK in Kelowna, so clearly his coach thought he had talent.

Frankly, I don't know the guy from Adam, but the clips and interviews show him to be a smart, confident kid. The Flyers' organization is very high on him, and say the same kinds of things they said about Rinaldo. I remember when Homer mentioned he thought Zac would make the team the next year, no one believed him, but there he was on opening day. I just think that Goulbourne has 'it' and that will make him an NHL player. I expect him to play Jr one more year, then a couple with the Phantoms, then we'll see....
