I think it will be very different. Matthews is unlikely to play a full season, and Marner will miss games due to hold out. IMO..

1. Tavares
2. Matthews
3. Nylander
4. Marner
5. Rielly
6. Johnsson
7. Barrie
8. Kapanen

I think Barrie will have many more points than Reilly, especially if Barrie is on the first power play.

I'm still shocked at the overwhelming majority who keep voting for Matthews, who has come 2nd or 3rd to Marner each of their three years together. I would bet on history repeating itself over a new thing happening (not that Matthews couldn't lead of course, totally possible).

Also surprised that everyone sees flawless scoring curves upward for Johnsson and Kappy . . . again, it's possible, but I'm betting on at least 1 to falter or go through a rough stretch.

My prediction:
1. Mitch Marner - 100-110+
2. John Tavares - low 90s
3. Auston Matthews - low 90s
4. William Nylander - 70s
5. Morgan Rielly - 57 - 67
6. Tyson Barrie - 50 - low 60s
7. Zach Hyman - high 40s, maybe even 50ish
8. Kasperi Kapanen - 40s
9. Johnsson - 40s
10. Alex Kerfoot - 40s

Up to 3 players get points on goals. How does Marner have a 110 range but Tavares Matthews are low 90s with Nylander in 70s lol. Marner isn't putting up 41 like Kucherov so Tavares will need to score 60+ goals next season.

Must be his agent in disguise trying to get him that 12 mil contract.

Why would you think that? Last 5 seasons have not been complete.

Pretty dumb to make predictions on stuff that may or may not happen.

There's a difference with predicting the top 10 scorers - obviously predicting based on if their healthy vs. making up hypothetical situations to base a list off of.

He hasn't played a full season in 2 years and it's unreasonable to think that could happen again? Or that, as reported, RFA's are planning to hold out and Dubas is making moves to prepare for it?

Or are you a Matthews fan being offended?

The entire point of these lists is based off of every player being healthy. Of course injuries are going to happen, but just randomly guessing what you might think will happen and then making a list is just dumb. The Marner situation has been beaten to death, there's just a good of a chance if not better that he's playing game 1 vs. sitting out.

And lol why would I be offended; the crap you posted is what the mainboard trolls use against Matthews - he could very well be healthy for the full year.

As I stated in every thread, these predictions are based off no significant roster changes and Mitch Marner resigning

It is definitely not stupid to predict a player won't play a full 82 games, when in the last 2 seasons the player lost significant time.

I'm predicting that both Tavares and Matthews miss some time. And Marner's a beast. That's how.
