Too many 4-goals players already. How many will we see this season?

Most 4-goal games in a season will probably come earlier in the season when defensive structures aren't yet solidified.

Except the OP. In the title of this thread.

But other than THAT .. no one.

Except that's clearly just click bait, since the tone of the actual OP doesn't match the title at all. I wouldnt expect "interesting", to follow up that title.

Just sensationalism to get people in the thread. Followed by more sensationalism from the original post I quoted. 4 goal games dont mean too much offense on the whole anyways, it's just a quirky stat that doesnt happen a whole lot. So saying the OP claims theres too much offense isnt even true.

i think 4 goal games will depend greatly on PP production.

non PP production depend on ealry season hiccups where new pairings/linemates have to relearn each other.

There was only 4 total last year:

Laine with 5
Tavares with 4
Wheeler with 4
Richardson with 4 (WTF?)

2017/18 there were 7 (all with 4 goals):

McDavid
Ovechkin
Kopitar
Bergeron
E. Kane
Brown
Jankowski

If you go back one year earlier before the NHL's most recent scoring spike, there were 3 (all with 4):

Marleau
Pacioretty
Matthews

2015/16:

Bennett (4)

2014/15 (all with 4):

Okposo
Perreault
Backes

2013/14 (all with 4):

Seguin
Ovechkin
St. Louis
Hertl
Nystrom

Kunitz was the only one to do it in the lockout year.
