I would like to inform the CIS community that SMU assistant coach Tom Lee is undergoing Chemo, Radiation and will have a bone marrow transplant Friday as part of his cancer treatment. Tom had previously "recovered" from cancer several years ago, but now it has returned. I would ask that you keep Tom in your thoughts. I will update his status as appropriate.

An update on Tom. He is at home, earlier than planned, after the bone marrow transplant. He's required to go to hospital every day to chart his progress. I'm reliably informed that it takes around 100 days to determine if the bone marrow transplant is successful. If you don't know Tom; he is a fighter. I fully expect him to win this one.......
