Seem to have a record of like 26-6-1. Damn. George Malik tweets some things about them once in awhile. Seem to have the ECHL version of the Sedin's or something. Wish Nasty tore it apart when he was down there, 7 points in 12 ECHL games seems low.

You're probably thinking of Derek Lalonde, who was the head coach of the Walleye the last two seasons, going 97-35. He's with Iowa now. He was in consideration for the Griffins job when Blashill left.

The new head coach, Dan Watson, was Lalonde's associate the past two years and an assistant coach five seasons before then.

The Walleyes are really doing fantastic. Wings goalie prospect Paterson is getting most of the playing time lately, maybe because Coreau is up. They wear some really wild jerseys for charity auctions during the year
