I'm not sure Toledo will be getting many players from Chicago this year. They just don't have the numbers to do it.

The Hawks currently have 43 players on their reserve list (a lot of teams including Detroit have 50).

18 in Rockford
2 in Europe

One of the goalies (Carruth or Simpson) and one or two of the players on AHL deals (Shea or Gleason) are a possibility, but that's about it (for now).

I don't know about Shea going to Toledo, before earning a spot with Rockford he had a contract with Reading in the ECHL this season. So if he gets sent down, does that mean he has to go to Reading?

I'm not to sure how AHL/ECHL deals go. I'm sure if he got sent down he wouldn't mind Toledo since he played college hockey 20 miles down I-75.
