Good read, I agree completely with the prospect rankings. Will mention though that I think it's fairly well known that Sweeney did not want to deal Hamilton, he was not re-signing in Boston and had to be dealt.

He's going to be a steal. So glad we got him. He's not a tremendously exciting prospect like Pasta/Senyshyn/etc, but I think he'll be the real deal.

I saw Carlo play in Spokane in Feb. It was probably the worst hockey game I've ever seen. When I go watch a Major Junior game, a couple of players usually stand out above the rest. This game nobody stood out. I noticed Brandon Carlo because of his size but he didn't wow me. I realize he is a defensive defenseman so probably won't dazzle us but there is plenty of growth needed in his game before he is ready to be thought of as ready to play on the Bruins. I think he is a terrific prospect but not to be thought of as jumping into the lineup yet. Down the road I'm excited about our potential lineup.
