Toronto despite winning 4-0 is not that much better than we are. the next 2 games will be interesting, I think we get them on Monday. This Toronto team doesn't seem so scary.

They won 4-0 with their backup and Matthews was out. They had 2 3rd liners and Nylander as their second line.

Tipps sucks. Old balls Smith obviously needed a break. He still hasn't reunited the DRY line. He scratched Bouchard who's been awesome over Jones and or Russel. Then he'd rather ice Patrick Russel whom hadn't scored in 2 years over Neal.

Tipps also doesn't know when a goalie is having an off night.

The Leafs played solid tho so I will give them credit. Their top 6 was way better than the Oilers top 6. Campbell was better than Smith.

Tough loss. A predictable loss the boys have been on a roll, they were due for a game like today. Tippet with some questionable decision like not putting bouchard in and flipping mcdavid and draisaitl. Koskinen should get a few games in, we all knew Smith would not sustain his level of play. Our 3 and 4th lines were outstanding, 1 and 2 had nothing going on. Oh well move on and destroy them Monday (Koskinen better start).
