I dont believe Tippett is a bad coach nor that he is unable to adapt his style to the modern game. He wore out his welcome with the Coyotes and needed to go - probably 2 years earlier - but still knows more about hockey than (probably) most of us.

I would bet a few coaches see him as a threat to their jobs should their team falter coming out of the gate (Paul Maurice?).

He'd be a good fit in Winnipeg. Their offense is already established. That's the key with him.
