Your HFNHL admin team has been hard at work trying to solve the latest financial crisis, as well as the solutions to other hot topics. As a result, these are the changes that will be occurring within the HFNHL next season (plan accordingly).
1. We are going to increase the revenue slider in the SIM to average. The average revenue level should sit at $52 million.
2. We will increase in SIM playoff revenue by 20%
3. We institute a salary cap floor of $40,000,000.
4. We will update the league minimum salaries (existing contracts grandfathered in) and maximum ELC to match present NHL values. Immediate increase of league minimum to $525,000 and ELC max to $925,000.
5. We will no longer allow CHL free agents to sign during the season. They will need to be signed in the offseason along with NCAA free agents. However, professional free agents will still be allowed to sign.
Also coming are changes to the structure of endorsements. They will likely remain, but the format of them will change. Stay tuned!
