I've got Steen, Oshie and Schwartz but that was a really hard one to pick. Everyone played extremely well.

HM to Lehtera, Backes, Tarasenko, and Elliott.

Went Steen, Schwartz, and Gunnarsson. I don't think any selection is wrong. Gunnarsson was super silky this game. I seen him effortlessly strip the puck a few times, very petro like.

Schwartz, Steen, Tarasenko

HM: Stastny, Oshie, Lehterä, Backes

and lots more also played well (but The Leafs didn't try very hard).

How did Goc, LaPierre, Cole, and Porter get votes? Did I miss something?

Penalty Box
Lehtera (did all the little things all game long that go unnoticed)
Gunnarsson (one solid game, excellent)
Bortuzzo (Just totally adds a missing dynamic, key moment was challenging Phaneuf)

I hate that It was against the leafs because they are such a terrible measuring stick but your spot on, Lehterä looked like he did earlier in the year, I hope it translates to tougher opponents.

Bortuzzo, you just have to love the guy, I'm sure he'll pull some Boneheaded moves from time to time, but he just has that demeanor of just a straight *******. Phaneuf cooled his antics off after Backes and Bortuzzo went after him. We've needed that element all year. I don't care if Phaneuf's hit was clean, they need to protect the stars.

1) Schwartz
Dude was everywhere, and had an awesome snipe.

2) Backes
Coming in to support Oshie after Phaneuf's borderline hit was what he needs to do when it matters. Not just run around recklessly when we're down by a goal, but stick up for your team mate immediately after a transgression.

3) Pietrangelo
Had a solid game, wasn't afraid to battle with some goons. Again, if Backes and Pie could play like this WHEN IT MATTERS we'd actually have a chance to win a Cup.

Can I just vote the Toronto defensive system that never seems to change. Does any other team allow so many easy zone entries and then continue to back off?
