Lehtera, I guess. Steen was good, too.

Pietro and Bouwmeester had their moments, but I can't justify giving stars to any of the defense tonight. Ott, Backes, Berglund, and Reaves played hard games.

I dunno, man. I think he's shown enough in the last couple games that a longer look wouldn't be undeserved, even when Stastny returns. Jaskin might be better, but Paajarvi is clearly more effective than Porter is and meshes with skilled players a bit better than Ott does (even though Ott is more effective, overall, right now). He could definitely become a valuable depth player as the season wears on.

Oh, I know. I'm just saying that I don't know if he really had the 3rd most effect on the ice, but he did do pretty well given his role.

I may rag on players, but I'll give credit where it's due. MPS caught my eye in a very good way tonight.

1.) Frank/Elliot (tied for first star)
3.) Bouwmeester (for a good game defensively, and tying it up late in the 3rd with a sick wrist that picked that beautiful corner.)

Good game by Elliott but those huge rebounds have to stop. Steen a little sloppy on the powerplay otherwise a good game also.
