Verbal death threats need to be punished.

You better cover your ears if you see a housewives of New Jersey commercial come on.

Until we start seeing a rash of Hockey players hanging outside the rink with weapons you just might want to lighten up a bit.

Because it got caught on camera, that's why Kadri got suspended.

You think Andrew Shaw is the only one who used a gay slur in the playoffs this past year? lolno. Not even close. But his lips were read clear as day on camera so he took the punishment.

It's all about PR and the league trying to look good. Get in touch with reality.

Why is a visual throat worse than a verbal one?
Sorry I'm not getting this.

Because "visual throat" was seen on TV, and there is an evidence it actually happened. Claims of some reporter are not evidence for anything. There are people who claim to see UFO, living Elvis, to witness ressurections etc.

Engerlanddd!
Why is a throat slash gesture a max fine but a verbal threat gets nothing?
It does make me wonder if it had to do with a certain player's ethnicity.
But Eastern bias...?

Probably for the main reason that Kadri did it on the ice, in front of a plethora of cameras, on live TV...

Not because of his race, or this apparent "eastern bias"... :shakehead:shakehead:shakehead
