Wings are struggling right now and Zetterberg is tied for most points on the team and Datsyuk will more than likely finish the season with a ppg average.

Severely diminished Z/D are still miles ahead of every player on this roster, with the exception of Larkin.

I would take Scott on the 4th line over guys like Andersson and Jurco, who aren't real 4th liners anyway. And those guys aren't good enough to be on the 3rd line either.

Good line combinations coach. Great idea to have Tatar and Nyquist in the bottom 6 yet have Darren Helm and brad Richards in the top 6. This straight up pisses me off. We have a year and a half left in Datsyuk's career, and our coach is wasting him one game at a time with garbage wingers. Thanks blashill, this team has been so much fun to watch since you took over, what a great job you are doing.

Wings need to trade for Paul Gaustad. That way every time he take's a faceoff, Mickey or Ken Daniels can tell us how he is ambidextrous.

If we continue to play this bad, February is going to be a long month. This month will truly show if we're a playoff team or not.

The most frustrating element is that for all our terribly static PP and the snoozy PK sans Miller, out biggest problem all year has been our complete inability to hit the net. Tonight we probably outchanced TBL again, but when 65% of your shots miss the net, and D & Z seem to take it turns as to who is going to find the iron every night, you just aren't going to score enough to win.

Full line juggle fever tonight, but I guess at least the coach was trying to reward those who showed some jump.

Biggest problem, as it has been for ages is still the total lack of a really dominant defencemen. The guys who can skate lack size or aggression, and visa versa. Hence the fact the Quincey is genuinely looking like a good top 4 option. Other teams are just much more able to relieve pressure and clear the zone quickly, where as our D can barely win a puck battle in its own zone.

Special teams annoyed the hell out of me tonight. Extra skater in the final minutes did his purpose either. Larkin with a "not so good game" is enough
to be totally lost out there... Man, that team is just awful to watch right now. Guess I'm doing myself a big favor and skip tmrws game...

Oh, and before I forget it. The incredible amount of shots that miss the net are just plain stupid.

A game like tonight is why I laugh at the people who say "the Wings are going to really suck when Kronwall, Datsyuk, and Zetterberg are washed up and/or retire!!!" Dude, those 3 guys are already at that point. We don't have to wait anymore. Datsyuk is an average 1st liner, Zetterberg is one of the slowest players in the NHL and very limited at this point in his career, and Kronwall has been atrocious this entire season. I love all those guys for what they have done over the years but they just aren't very good anymore....at all. Their minutes need to be cut. Sorry.

I love those guys, but there's a point in every man's life when you can't drive a first line any more. I think Pav had a bad game, I know he can play at a higher level than that even at this point in his career, but Z is just plain slow, Larkin can't do everything.

21(even 8)-13-71 should be our first line.

Special teams is just plain awful, I said before the game that Andy was necessary for PK with Sheahan and Miller out. No **** that, bring a young guy in see what he can do.

At least KFQ comes off the books this summer, We're stuck with little E for 4 more years.

Sad part is we had 6 on 5 for nearly 3 minutes and couldn't do a single thing we had like 2 shots in that time. Richards as a shooter is pathetic. Then of course it stands to reason we've a garbage PP so why would we think any thing differently when we've 6 on 5 for 3 minutes.
