i wasn't following hockey outside the Olympics yet in 2010, but i'd always had kind of a soft spot for the Canadian teams on a 'well, if it can't be the US, at least it's Canada' basis

mainly on this occasion my thought was 'well they care a lot more about hockey up there, good for them'
