Trade everyone. Fire everyone. Blow the team up. Tank for McDavid. Etc etc etc...

Or lets just come out better and compete harder next game :)

If Leafs don't beat the Flyers on Sat, then people should start worrying. A 7 game road trip after Sat's game.

I know what this team is, even when we were in the 10 game highpoint of the season.

Dec-Jan will test the resolve of some fans here.

IMO Philly game has the potential to be another stinker.
Hopefully Gardiner has a big game on Saturday. Perhaps we can trade him to the Flyers to join that other over-rated dud of a young D-man we stuck them with.

Gardiner actually made a lot of very nice offensive plays.
His problem is that he can't play a stitch of defense. Which, once again, makes me wonder why on earth he even plays that position? It's like putting Clarkson at center.

Unfortunately the Leafs really are like a bag of trail mix. You can get anything from what you want to what you don't.

This was definitely one of those "don't want" kind of games.

They played like garbage here so they should get ripped as much as they do for it. They certainly shouldn't get praised for playing badly.

wouldn't hurt to try putting him as a forward at least for one game.

This game was a solid meh.

Next game's response will be more telling of how this team will fare for the rest of the season. Good thing the Hurricanes are so bad though... wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs. Also watch Cam Ward come back down to Earth after this game.

I saw this coming, but dear lord, what the hell, man? :help:

It's not the fact that we lost a game it's who and when....

The Canes were on pace to break a record for fewest goals since the dead puck Era.

FFS! This team is the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde squad!

Santorelli gets it. And it's rubbing off on Kadri playing beside him
I'm all for Winnik or Komarov on the Bozak Kessel line - Maybe their cycling tenacity could rub off on them too

JVR and Kessel should not be on the same line 5 on 5.

Drop JVR to the 3rd. Keep him top pp.
