Is about to be exposed. He couldn't fool Bell/Rogers.This farm team has nothing. They lost for 4 years and Boston got all the gain. How long can you distract everyone from that? Best,no one ever finds out...

I love how people talk about Rogers as though they are an entity that refuses to lose, all the while ignoring the past ten years of Blue Jays ball where they refused to invest a penny in the team.

The attention span of some people around here truly is astounding.

the boston chest thumping = you trolling.

you don't need to focus on boston to expose Burke's joke of a team. they can do that themselves thank you very much.

The problem with Burke's rebuild is the NHL landscape has changed with regards to star talent moving either through free agency and or trades in any meaningful quantity.

It wasn't so long ago that in the NHL you would see Teemu Selanne, Brendan Shanahan, Wayne Gretzky, Bill Ranford, Curtis Joseph, Patrick Roy, Chris Pronger all get traded in one single season, or big time franchise centermen like Ron Francis, Pierre Turgeon, Doug Gilmour, Pat Lafontaine, Mark Messier exchanging hands like hockey cards in the schoolyard at recess, but these days teams are just holding onto their stars like dear life, cutting down Burke's ability to change the franchise quickly.

#1C - Seguins
#1D - Hamilton
#1G - Rask

Just to remind you.

Rask has nothing to do with Burke.

Chances are the LEafs ruin Seguin and Hamilton by playing them too much too early.

Particularly Seguin. I could see him being ruined by this market. Just look at hte BS Kadri and Schenn went through. Seguin would be X10.

Time to get over the deal. Seriously.

Kessel is one hell of a player. IF Cliff hadn't traded Steen and Coli then Kessel would have had a decent 2 way center to play with.

Yup. The old FA feeding frenzy has turned into tea and Biscuits with Granny.

So what does Rask have to do with Burke?

Burke traded a #2 overall(Seguin) and #5 overall(Schenn), but he also got a #2(JVR) overall and #5 overall(Kessel) back in a trade.

He may had traded Hamilton, but he also traded for Gardiner.

Burke's moves seem to balance out when you look at the whole picture not just with the hate goggles on.
