Yeah really, another thread? that reflects badly on us. Let's move on. Not THAT big of a deal.

My god part 4. When will it end?

This thread is unnecessary now, he's a flyer. Move on people.

French Canadian, 6'4" 220 lbs, 60-70 pts, 55% face off percentage, give up nil to acquire him, captained a team to Cup....nope not what we are looking for.

He's no longer a 60-70 point player. He's a 50 point in 70 games player, and 33 getting a 5 year deal with full NTC.

I did not lose ANY sleep over this. VL will probably have a bounce back yaer but I think at least 2 or 3 of those 5 years he isn't worth his cap hit and they'll be looking to move him. A relationship that won't end well.

The big mistake a lot of fans make is imagining him at his best, he is no longer that player. It's like signing Iginla and expecting him to score 50 and win the Hart trophy.

"What tipped it for Vinny was the chance to play for a hockey market with passionate fans," Hughes said. "He is really impressed with the rich tradition of the Flyers."

Well at least casual fans could accept him staying in Tampa. He won't be liked very much now.
