Nanaimo, B.C.
Big blocks on the PK. Bench going wild (bench is really vocal actually in general)

this team really hasnt gotten much help from the Canucks and is decimated by StL injuries but theres some real cohesion it seems, guys just going and doing it

PERIOD 1 ends
2-1 Utica

SOG
Comets - 13
Crunch - 16

Kielly was good. The only goal the result of poor D in the slot by Eliot. He had position and was facing the man, both standing in the slot. Eliot watched the puck and when the hard pass came to the slot the man banged it home and Eliot didn't move. All he had to have done was gotten up into the man and the pass never would have been made.

Another period so consistent with the Comets early in this season. They control everything for maybe 10 minutes or so and then it swings the other way and they are on their heels for the rest of the way.

Rathbone was finally sent down.
Scott Perunovich is the top rookie D with St. Louis, Last season's NCAA Hobey Baker winner. He has been in the same spot as Bone all season. He is riding in the cab. In spite of all the injuries in St.Louis, he has not left the cab.

He and Rathbone along with Woo would have made for some fantastic rookie play in this modified season. Not too late for the Blues management to wake up. This kid is in the US making the moves up and down much easier. He at least needs some reconditioning time.

"Scott Perunovich, come on down!"

Woo hurt on a block
If it's serious, the Comets roster will shrivel to 2 players below the game day 18.

Period.

That's 16 players on the entire roster game ready.

Is there any reason the Aquaman plays GM Johnson a salary?

Rochester played 2 guys in the game last night on PTOs and they have 19 forwards.

3 guys have chance to clear it out and all 3 fail.

Finally out.

McKenzie grabs a takeaway and hits the post!
