Someone posted a tweet with possible names from a somewhat reliable source, the one i liked was “venom.”

I absolutely hate singular noun names for sports teams .

That includes Heat, Magic , Thunder … very basketball.

Sting sounds straight out of the WNBA. Stingers would acceptable though

The Raiders are one of the most marketable sports teams in the world.

If I’m not mistaken, the identity is being left in AZ / with Merulo. I think Ryan Smith will want to give the appearance of a clean break from the “old” franchise as well given everything a lot of people associate with that entire operation.

Otherwise I agree, I’d vote for Utah Coyotes. Maybe a slight logo and color refresh for the move. But I think it works and looks good and sounds good. But not gonna happen.
