I just don’t think Ryan Smith is going to lean hard into a mountain and ice and Bigfoot type theme with the Avalanche in the state literally right next door. They already have all their imagery with mountains and snow and a bigfoot logo. I’d be very surprised if he went with Yetis or Blizzard or anything like that.

He strikes me as a guy who wants both a broadly appealing (hence the very quick “it’s Utah NOT Salt Lake City”) but unique in the NHL/NBA world that he and the Salt Lake City area live in.
