But it's bonkers that they're not considering Utah Phoenix. Firebirds are awesome, it'd make one of the best logos ever, it'd be a reference to "rising from the ashes" of a failed franchise, while also being a cool reference to the team formerly being the Phoenix Coyotes.

As long as the expansion Arizona team can be called the Arizona Salt Lakes….which obviously is a reference to the lakes along the Salt River in the Phoenix metroplex

Am I crazy or are all of those names pretty cool, my initial vote was Mammoth but I was thinking Outlaws would be pretty cool with a purple backdrop and an outlaw silhouette logo, just probably can't have the guy holding a gun or smoking

Outlaws sounds good, but then you remember it's Utah. It has the reputation of being a no fun state. I've never been, so who knows if it's justified. But I think that's the image most of us have of it, so the Outlaws, while it sounds good at first hearing, doesn't really hold up when you think about it for a few seconds.
