No potential, current. Folks just don't know that Bruins fans feel that way. I've heard it from others that Chara is still the best D on the team.

There is absolutely nothing that makes Ekblad better than Klingberg. If people are putting Werenski who was sheltered offensively just like Klingberg was ahead of Klingberg, get out. Niskanen you have a point he's a beast, but I'd still choose Klingberg as his offense is at worst top 10 in the league out of Dman, even with sheltered minutes and suspect defense. Spurgeon you have a point as well, but he plays with Suter and has depth to fall back on.

There is absolutely no reason any of these Dman should come before Klingberg who is the best offensive player out of the three while not having any good dman to fall back on. Yes Klingberg's eye test defense is mep and the quality he faces is worse than everyone mentioned, but at the same time he produces better results than all but Stralman who plays with Hedman, and Klingberg's elite offense is superior to Stralman's elite defense.

imo its between stralman, hjalmarsson, niskanen, rielly, Larsson.

Buff, Krug, Niskanen, Ekholm, Klingberg, Chara in some order for me.

I know its cool to rag on the Bruins D, but they did finish 9th in goals allowed and 1st in PK last year. They have had too many bottom pairing (or worse) guys playing top 4 roles over the last few seasons, but Chara and Krug have dragged them to respectability.
