Very happy to be here in Vancouver. As GM of the Montreal Canadiens, we'd like to thank the city and fans for their generosity. Since landing, we've been treated with nothing but respect from the city. It's times like these we take to reflect on those who've had a positive impact on our lives. Let's all take some time to reflect. I'd also like to congratulate the St. Louis Blues on winning the Stanley Cup this season.

Players come and go, so picking the right one to stay is paramount to this organization. Only those who truly wear the red C with pride are deserving on this pick. Do not underestimate the history it holds. Knowing this, whoever we pick tonight will hopefully do the Montreal Canadiens a great deal. Other than that, we'd like to get on with it.
