Yes, I'm aware. Sorry if I think the Selke should go to someone who was good when the season mattered and not the last 15 games when his team has already been eliminated from the playoffs partially due to his sub-par play.

I'm a habs fan, and bergeron plays with ratface who broke 100 points and pasta, and is STILL the best player on that line. He might lose it because people are tired of giving it to him all the time.
I get that the selke has morphed away from best defensive forward to the best 200 foot player, but as this is the case you have to include bergeron in the mix.

if one of your fancy stats argues against bergeron being at worst one of the top three 200 ft players, i wouldnt trust that stat.
