It surprises me how little I care about this game, and how little I want to watch it. And I was a season ticket holder for 10 years and went to 4 Super Bowls. At least 50% of it is Cris Collinsworth though.

Sometimes Brady has bad games around this part of the season. That Lions game, the Jags game, last year they got wrecked by New Orleans, etc. Maybe we get lucky tonight. If Judon and Winovich can get in his face enough and throw him off, it's in play.

I'm just as interested to see how Mac handles everything. Seems like a kid who doesn't get phased by pressure. But McDaniels needs to give him something to work with, no handoffs to Bolden in the red zone please.

Everyone's way too laser focused on Brady and the Pats' offensive struggles. The Pats' D and Bucs D are kinda being overlooked. It's Brady vs. a good Pats D and Mac against a good Bucs D. Both are good defensive units and have gamebreakers, whoever makes the big play for the turnover or 3rd down stop could take it, etc. Game might even come down to special teams, where the Pats always come up big.

Too bad we don't have a talent like DJax out there to go downfield, unless Kenny Bourne goes super saiyan. If the line is even average tonight, Mac has done enough to let them open it up a bit. If Josh starts calling for two handoffs on each set of downs, Jake Bailey is going to get a nice hamstring workout from all the punting.
