Wow, I was running the track when back to back AC/DC songs came on my playlist.

They recently announced that they’re making new music despite the fact that Brian Johnson is basically deaf and several founding members are no longer with us.

It got me thinking that most of the artists I listen to are either washed up or dead.

Then came word that Eddie Van Halen had passed away.

Sucks, man.

I was lucky enough to see them on every single tour that they played the West Coast on. Van Halen along with anything Dio related were my boys way back when . This one really hurts . What a legacy he’s left us to listen to though .

Man, if you followed VH everyone knew Eddie's fight was a tough one. I wanted to see him make one more album, just to see where he would go with his music and style.

Van Halen was my go to as a youth and still a strong part of my listening today. Original VH was one of the greatest party bands of all time...

This was the last song he wrote and performed. He knew he was dying. Warren was only in his 50s when he left this earth.

It is a beautiful sad song.

I got to see Warren live about 20 times. I wasn't able to listen to his music again until about two years ago. Still my favorite lyricist.
