Wayne Simmonds on this team 4 years ago would have been cool and good

Wayne Simmonds on this team now is pointless. He's an aging power forward with declining numbers who wants a big contract that he'll almost certainly underperform on, and the Rangers are a bad team that needs young/future assets not aging, declining, expensive players

My thinking about Wayne is that he would provide some despritly needed muscle on the team, but still be a hockey player for a few more years. I'm all about the "kids" but I'd rather hire an older muscle that can play the game.
