That's what I said myself before but apparently I'm "overstating" this.
Have to win this game so for the next 4 days, the Devils don't have to think about "Oh no! We lost back-to-back and are on 2-game losing streak" until the next game.
Also, remember that there are other teams playing during that 4 game stretch. We need to at least get points here to keep pace also.

Santini Butcher should be a trip.
It's a shame we don't have a full compliment of forwards. Philly is a dumpster fire defensively and in goal.

Hopefully Bratt and Zajac are back in the next week or so and we can finally see what a full lineup looks like.

Pessimism. SEE? I was right in my observation yesterday.
Anyway, this isn't your Father's "NJ Devils".
This team has bought-in to Hynes' system and I'm sure they were having trouble sitting down after the new hole he tore them following the AVS game.
Reporter : "How come the Devils weren't ready to play tonight?"
Hynes : "That's an excellent question."
I look for the Devils to bounce back, even without Zajac.
Bratt will likely be back by next week ala "Who is that Masked Man?".

Well at least one positive thing going on right now is that it is way too early in the season for people to start using the phrase "MUST WIN GAME." So we can at least enjoy that for... the next couple weeks probably.

This isn't a must-win game as far as the Standings/Playoffs go (it seems certain people blatantly misinterpret what I'm saying) but it would be PREFERABLE *not* to have a 2-game-losing streak(with no points) going into this wacky 4-game-break. If, at least, for their own Psyche.
Win so the Devils players have GOOD VIBES heading into this break.

I'm not sure how Coleman is going to work on that line but it is pretty interesting that it's only game 6 and he's been a 4th line LW, a 3rd line RW and today a 2nd line C.
Kinda reminds me of how the Devils used to use Brylin.
But Coleman between Stafford and Johansson seems odd to me.
