My head hurts after reading this article.
So Katz was gonna move the Otters to Hamilton so that he could get the lease as leverage to get a new rink in Edmonton? That seems to be the simple reason as to why all this started.
Now it's just turned into a mess.

It's like a love triangle gone wrong. In this case, the perpetrator has a history of being a snake (cutthroat backroom maneuvering) and the mistre has a history of being a rat (threats, leaking stuff to the press).

Despite the rat being more financially loaded, my prediction is nature runs its course and the snake (SB) devours the rat (DK)--at least in terms of selling the Otters to local investors and then parlaying that $ to pay off DK--and Erie wins.
