Sure but consider that we went on an 11 game point streak at one point and still barely rose in the standings. The teams that are ahead tend to stay there.

Nothing is in stone. Way too many games left to be making end of season assessments. Everything seems to be black and white in your world. When the team is playing badly, it's nearly the end of the world and time to pull the shute,and trade and fire a bunch of people. And now, there is no chance for anything to change in the standings with 3 weeks left.

I’d like to see Vegas. The McDavid vs Eichel story line would be huge in the media. Can’t see McDavid not coming out on top in the series.
