Same here. The only reason I am damn proud right now is because Carey Price was the goaltender that went the distance. If Luongo was #1, this wouldn't feel the same to me. Not even close.

Many of us have said he was good enough to win with a team in front of him. How many times did we hear he wasn't?

Today, he proved it. Any questions have been answered. And as good as the D was, there was zero room for error. Absolutely awesome. He's got a good case for best goalie in the world. And he's a Hab for the forseeable future.

Price is the man.

Sang the anthem. I like that PK suited up for the medals, dat smile. I honestly hope this helps his perceived attitude image around the league. Never once heard him complain. Happy as anything that we won. I love PK. I love Carey. Two shutouts to end the tourney. Knew he wouldn't give the Lu supporters any ammunition.
