Van Halen was a great choice. AC/DC and VH were the first 2 hard Rock bands I was into. I discovered them on ancient devices called cassette tapes in a car.
My first concert was Damn the Torpedoes. There were multiple encores, and we were dancing in the aisles. He provided narration for an Elvis documentary, had a brilliant mind, and a deep understanding of Rock history. Elvis preferred Gospel to Rock.
You haven't heard all the great rock guitarists if you've never listened to this album (and Frank Zappa).
