I came across this article in the NY Post on Lebron James' return to Cleveland. Though it is about James returning to the Cavs, the writer touches on the essence of being a true blue sports fan, whether it be for our Bruins, Sox, Celtics or Patriots, and the roller coaster ride that you will endure as a lifelong fan.

When I read it, I could not help back thinking how many times over the decades when you would wonder why am I putting myself to the torment of following this team only to have your heart stolen by the Habs.

No matter the ups and downs or the movement of players with time, the Bruins are one pastime that you can't get enough.

Well, as Master of the Obvious, I always say, "Fan is short for fanatic." Ain't it the truth!
