Sweeney did get value out of the Lucic and Jones trades though. Benning gets fleeced in every trade he makes.

Yeah I feel that way too.

It'll be interesting to see if Benning gets canned if we miss the playoffs this year. I imagine the "fire Benning" chants near the end of the season won't help matters.

I'm fairly sure Linden hired Benning. Which turned out to be a colossal failure, like kinda was expected I guess since Linden had zero qualifications to make a hiring like that.

Otherwise he's nothing but a pretty and popular face to sell tickets. Has done nothing what comes to hockey op.

Yep. And expecting someone as unqualified as Linden to recognize a bad apple in an interviewing progress isn't something you can really expect. The Canucks are now suffering from that, instead of some other bad organization making a bad hire with unqualified people.

And continue to blame Gillis for the team's failure.

What about Miller's NTC?
That has become a big problem...
Only a year into his deal.
