At only 22 year old and a $3M cap hit, he's still a very solid asset to have around even if he never progresses beyond being a 35-40 point contributor. Given the upside, I'd say to hang onto him. Doesn't make sense to sell low.

Fair points and I don't disagree. If Top Line Tom stops working I'd like to see Burt given an extended look with Backstrom and Ovie to see if that would jumpstart him. This team would be much deeper if Bura would take the next step.

I figured the trivia was either Khristich or Kono. Kono would've been a good one since he's a Duck's assistant, but Dmitri is kind of a forgotten Cap. Put up those goals in only 5 seasons as a Cap

Agree with the first part, disagree with the second. I watch a TON of hockey (8.5 hours so far today ), Caps are easily top ten speed wise in the league. They might be slower on D, only Djoos and Orlov are really burners, but up front they are fine.

Steal? Doubling up a team on scoring chances is not "stealing" anything. Heck if Holtby doesn't let in that relative softie, the Caps win this in regulation.
