Were still probably getting a player the Sabres have ranked in there top 5. At least that's what they will say...

We are somehow going to acquire PK this offseason

Pysyk, McCabe, Girgensons, Gionta, Gorges, Buffalo's 1st round pick for the next 4 seasons, O'Reilly's beard and his puppy, half of HarborCenter, Tim Murray's sarcasm, one of the ships in the naval park, and US rights of the American side of Niagara Falls

to Montreal for Subban.

Speaking of Norris-caliber defenseman stuck in losing organizations with bad management, I wonder if 1st overall couldn't convince Ottawa to part ways with Karlsson as a pennypinching/rebuilding two-birds-with-one-stone kinda move

PK and Karlsson aren't going anywhere, but even if they did, we'd still have to fix the defense after acquiring both.

Oilers are just so talented at the tank. Year after year after year they manage to find ways into the bottom 3 of the standings. Only 3 games left in their season, they smell last overall and I don't see another team with the ability to beat them. Then they take Laine 2nd overall, rinse and repeat the whole process next season. Well Oiled Machine!!!

Love the not so subtle implication that they're liars. Didn't realize liar was the new critism of Murray who always gets called out for being too honest.

Wonder where it even stems from. He made it pretty publicly clear Eichel was his #2 (that too honest I was talking about) and they had video of the scouts voting on Reinhart being the top of their board long before they drafted him.

But yes. At least that's what they'll say indeed...

Note: If a select few people want to help with keeping this updated (all you have to do is add wins, losses, OTL, and ROW, the table will update itself from there) just let me know, and I can give you editing permissions.
