With the emergence of Nikita Kucherov I've been wondering, who are the NHL's cheapest 100+ point scorers after the league had introduced the salary cap?

Kucherov is the NHL's top point scorer in the calender year of 2017 (106 points in 81 games):

With his 59 points in 42 games so far he is currently on pace for 115 points for the 2017-18 season.
His cap hit is $4.767M for this season and the next.

Of course he hasn't hit 100 (yet) so I've been wondering, what players have managed to hit 100 points and beyond while also having the lowest cap hit? Especially interesting while not factoring in entry level contracts.

Not quite 100 points but Selanne was 1 million dollar player in his 40+50 season.

McDavid did it cheaper last year.

His humongous new contract doesn't start until next season.

The salary numbers posted here are interesting. What is their salary to the Cap at the time. For example, Sakic was paid 5.75 mill in 06-07 when the cap 44 million dollars. That's 13% of the cap which today would be 9.75 million today.

So is that actually a bargain for 97 points or what a player who scores 97 points is worth?

Yeah we should definitely do the exercise by accounting for Cap %.
