On the suggestion of @Saxon Eric, I have created a Bruins/hockey podcast thread where we can keep a list of must listen to Bruins and/or hockey podcasts.

Top of the list is our own Three Amigos podcast with Dom, Kirk and Reed

3 Amigos Podcast: Bruins summer update- free agency, draft & rumors

I personally listen to Spittin Chicklets but it may not be for everyone.

Mods please feel free to change the name, pin it, delete it etc.

Also wasn’t sure if this thread should also be a place to post other sports related podcasts.

Some of my favorites (no particular order):

1.) Spittin Chiclets

2.) Black n’ Gold Hockey Podcast

3.) 3 Amigos

4.) Zero Pucks Given — not sure if this is going to continue.

5.) TSN Hockey BobCast = really enjoy the draft episode

6.) TheDraftAnalyst = Near draft

And there’s a Stanley Cup of Chowder PC that I’d like to give a listen to.

I think they were looking to bring in Sarah Civian who replaced Ty Anderson but I don't think it has been made official.

I know the AT&T hockey show podcasts their shows and with Ty Anderson moving to 98.5 I will be curious to see if they have him on regularly. Ryan Johnston, Bob Beers, Billy Jaffe and Judd Sirot do a great job with the show. Now if they could just get rid of the other guy (I'll save that for the Media thread).

I wish Roenick and Jaffe kept up their podcast because it was fantastic,

There are too many good podcasts in general and not enough time to listen. I listened to the Mcavoy and Thornton episodes of Spittin’ Chiclets, good stuff. Also, whatever Bruins podcast Jaffe does I was listening to during the playoffs this year and it was much better than anything on NESN.

totally off topic and definitely not sports related but I`m hooked on Mafia. A deep dive into the stories of various Mafia figures

Two national ones that are pretty funny with good hockey talk:

Puck Soup (Greg Wyshynski and Dave Lozo)

Biscuits: A hockey podcast (Dave Lozo and Sean McIndoe)

during hockey season you cant beat the various lunch shows that almost every single tsn and sports net show in Canada broadcast

theres 2 in Vancouver [much prefer the new sportschannal to the established tsn show]

2 in alberta {1 each Edmonton and Calgary}

I assume Winnipeg has 1 but I never had time to listen

Toronto has the 2 of them {also super recommend the tsn drive home show with oneil and mclennon for 3 hours of total jock talk}

haven't ever listend to Ottawa

and in montreal... I don't know French so just the 1 show but usually I specifically track down pierre mcquires hits here. the station breaks them out so they are easy to find

these shows are largely aimed at the local markets but filling an hour or two with hockey talk 5 times a week means they do cover all the national stories too. and all these shows hire the best national guests. between these shows you end up hearing everyone that is important

this is easily 8 solid hours of pure hockey talk every weekday... if you cant get your fill from these shows I don't know what you are looking for

on the weekends the 2 boston radio stations each provided a 2 hour hockey show this past year that could be listened. the one is sunday skate and then the other one was with bob beers on Saturdays. I found neither show was made available immediately to us in Canada. but I still enjoyed listening. billy jaffey was a frequest guest too. the overall 'news' value of the boston shows is vastly inferior to the Canadian lunch shows. but as a bruin fan hungering for pure bruin talk here in Canada... it was ok

I also fully recommend the lowtide show which gets archieved and is available from the 1260 Edmonton internet site. lowtide is one of our own... an original here on hf. hes also one of the original bloggers from the early days of the net. now hes a lot more. hes writing for some major sites. he has a 2 hour daily show on the tsn channel from Edmonton and a 4 hour Saturday show.

he loves his analytics and has all the top people involved with that on his shows... but why I really recommend him is he is origionally a bruins fan. he is now more into the oilers of course... but he will still frequently show his bruin loyalties from the old days

I also go to the tsn website frequently and check their audio highlights from the day.... if they have news making segments or huge interviews... they do break these out and put them up as podcasts

I`ve enjoyed the 31 Thoughts Pod with Jeff Marek (who I`m not always a fan of) and Elliot Friedman (see Marek), the two of them often have some solid debates and aren`t just there agreeing with one another about every team/player they are discussing and mercifully they aren`t just pounding the Cup parade button for the Leafs either
