The Blues have been hot so this isn't the mismatch it would have been earlier in the year, but we could really use a win in this one with two tough games against NYR and Carolina again. The good news is we have two-day breaks pre- and post-Carolina coming up and then a relatively soft schedule against Western teams after that.
They’re pretty banged up and they’ve given up at least 5 goals in 5 of their last 6 games(only one they didn’t was Chicago) should be plenty of chances for us to tonight

Blues have OReilly and Tank out but have still been able to score and scratch out wins .
Not an east game at all , especially with being a back to back for us with getting in early this morning .
Hopefully we play a good structured game and capitalize on our chances.

I'm surprised they throw the decrepit #29 out there for the home games, when they could have played him on the road. Maybe they want the fans to turn on him and hope he'll quit?
I'm thankful he didn't play last night though, as I'm pretty sure he would have allowed at least one goal before we scored our first one and that could have changed the entire trajectory of the game. Vitek also made saves on several deflections and at least one or two '''Screens''. We know the big worthless oaf doesn't really make saves on deflections very often, despite his girth and is screened by the most miniscule of screens.
After a fun blowout win last night, where lots of goals were scored and no goals were scored against us until a stupid penalty with 2 minutes left in the game, the fans will be restless if he comes out and plays like shit, just like the second goal the other day. The paying fans are already turning against him and he's allowed at least 4 or more goals in his last 3 home starts.
The Blues are one of the three teams (Kraken and Devils) that he's never played before.
Then again, this game will likely be poorly attended, as is the case with mid week games against Western Conference opponents.

The Blues still have a lot of good forward depth even without ROR and Taranseko. Their top 2 lines are still legit. Need to feast on the bottom 6.

Probably got injured/sick.
There was a better chance Blackwood was gonna be tossed before he played the last game than there is right now. As it was actually a decent game (good by his worthless standards) and not one of his average games.
Unless he's the one injured again or sick. I wouldn't rule out him being sick or injured, as I expected him to get the start last night and Vitek tonight, but I'm starting to give up on predicting which goalie will play when.
The only guarantee at this point is that Blackwood will play more than he should.
