Yeesh, I was optimistic that Markov would be back by this point, and that shaw wouldn't be too far behind.
MT doesn't seem to trust tbe barberio and Redmond pairing at all based on their ice time, but there's no way around it. Markov and pateryn are not coming back anytime soon , so he has no choice but to increase their minutes.
This just feels ugly. Hopefully, the lightning come out lethargic which can happen to teams coming out of the Christmas break.
