Hoping for Ho Sang or DeAngelo considering it's not traded for the 1st overall. I don't buy the character issues being that much of a problem.

I approve of this thread. Seems useful. We can turn it into a thread for that player after we make our pick. Probably do the same for the 6th overall.

Hoping for Scherbak or Barbashev.

These guys will probably both be snatched up by 20.

I have a feeling we'll just be a few spots away from them.

Boston has the 25th pick -- I'm guessing Benning is very familiar with the players in that range, and maybe that made him value the 24th overall pick higher than other GMs would.

Bleackley
Scherbak
Ho-Sang
Pastrnak

Out of the realistic options at 24

Out of the "not likely to be there but maybe they slide a bit"

Barbashev
Milano
Perlini

Want offensive upside in that pick, though I'd take Bleackley over some of the more talented guys due to his all-round game and skill set.
