The all new +/- elimination game

[These Are The Days]

I stumbled upon a little game that the Avs fans play to kill time and it's actually a lot of fun. It's real simple. You have a list of the Lightning roster and everyone begins with 5 points. You give one player a + to add to his point total and a - to another to reduce his point total. Obviously you can't give a + or a - to the same player. It helps to color the added player green and the reduced player red.

Example

Stamkos (5) -
Carle (5) +

Their totals are now

Stamkos (4)
Carle (6)

A player is eliminated once he falls to 0. If everyone participates the game actually goes rather quickly, especially if everyone "gangs up" on a particular player.

Vasilevskiy (1) -

Vasilevskiy is now eliminated

One important thing for people new to this game: Check always after your vote that you didn't accidentally void someone's vote i.e. if someone posted just before you while you were making the post, make sure you base the vote count on the vote he/she made just before you instead of basing the vote count on the same one the previous person did.
