Sort of makes you wonder how a thread like this has any traction at all considering their is no obvious alternative and the disruption/distraction removing the C would cause. The players know who their leaders are, what makes anyone here think they are qualified to decide who would be best as Captain without knowing the dynamic of the dressing room.

0 upside in stripping his C and all indications are he is staying for now. It might be more constructive to discuss the Marlies captain but even then....
