Last year went out with a whimper to say the least and summer edition WJCs don't really count, so now it's time to come back with a bang. As usual the Flyers suck, so take a break from that suckiness and come here to enjoy your fantasy team, made up of kids who can't even have a proper drink yet, suck instead. Nothing tastes better than bitter disappointment from having your 1st round pick stink up the place and be knocked out in the quarter finals.

The last edition, the one closed prematurely due to.. well, guess what... was won by @FLYguy3911 and here is that thread: Fantasy Sports: - The 8th edition Flyers WJC fantasy draft - @FLYguy3911 wins I guess...

So far we have a few returnees but there are vacant spots. At most we'll be 10 players. Depending on the number of players who wants to play we'll adjust the number of picks each player makes accordingly, to not bloat roster too much. That will be updated prior to the draft starting. I aim for the draft to start in a day or two.

Points
1 point for goal or assist.
+ 1 additional point if scored SH.

New for this year: Goalies get points for save percentage in the game:
1 point for >= 80%SVS
1 additional point for >= 90% SVS
1 additonal point for a shutout.
I.e. max point total for a goalie in one game is three points.

In case of a 0-0 game going to the shootout both goalies will be awarded a shutout.

Replacements
If you happen to draft a player who gets cut or injured prior to the start of the tournament and can't participate you will be able to replace him when the regular draft is done. Replacements will be made in the order the injured/cut players where picked.
If a player is injured during the tournament, he can be replaced. Any accumulated point totals by the replacement player prior to the replacement of the injured player will not be added to your score. I.e Player A gets injured and is replaced by Player B, who up to the time of the replacement has 4 points. These 4 points will not be included in your score.
Players knocked out of the tournament can not be replaced.
