The 2017 Offseason Archives

Whether you agree with the decisions made or not, this offseason was one for the record books. I have yet to see an offseason this significantly busy in my lengthy fandom. I found myself reliving these moments earlier by going back and reading some of the threads, and it ignited that excitement again. I thought about how nice it would be to have these all in one place in case we want to continue to tap into the nostalgia. We have yet to see how these moves pan out, but it's been a crazy summer for sure.

Pretty neat article on John Chayka that was written by Ryan Dixon of Sportsnet. This is a nice addition to the articles listed in post #1.

Revisiting the Tippett form was incredible.

Around page 22 the Morgan tweet about Dave being in Chicago comes out and everyone gets bummed out. Then the McKnzie tweet comes out and all hell breaks loose. I remember that night, I was just about to go out and read that tweet and had to hang around the computer to soak it all in. Then by 10pm I don't remember a thing besides joy, and beer.

The Mike Smith thread is pretty excellent too as that one came out of no-where. But I thought the Doan news came after the Smith trade.
