If this were an nhl now, with these players as they are today, how good would this team be:

Greenway - Thompson - Terry
Jones - Roslovic - Fischer

Fox - McCavoy
Lindgren

Oettinger
Woll

This team would be missing an entire fourth line and 3 defensemen. If you gave them 10M to sign those 7 players to fill out the rest of the roster, would this be a Stanley cup contender?

Ilya Samsonov made 49/50 saves to beat them in the group stage but Russia somehow got dominated by Switzerland in the quarters.

Jeremy Bracco played top line with Matthews and Tkachuk. Adam Fox was on the U17 team (98 births) that year and I don’t think he got called up.
