Wouldn't mind him on the Oilers. Could use some RW depth. Not sure if Chia wants him back though. Might not fit into the culture of the team now. Tough to say.

sure Teddy with $650K retained plus 4th for Reinhart. Basically just want the Reinhart trade to look even worse.

Still has a skill set, but struggles to skate a normal NHL shift, and create anything.

It's why the Kings sent him down.

I could see the Flames sniffing around if they want a cheap deadline add.

The Kings should acquire Jagr from the Panthers and Lehtera from the Blues and keep Purcell.

Purcell - Lehtera - Jagr would be epic. Gives their guys on the bench a chance for a good rest after 5 min shifts in their own zone.

Kudos, you managed to bring up a completely unrelated trade in a thread about Teddy Purcell. Let it go.

Hall - Draisaitl - Purcell was one of the best lines in the NHL for 30-40 games last season. Purcell is a smart player and with a low cap hit he is a valuable player. Was surprised nobody claimed him.

Not sure why everyone is surprised he might have value at the TDL after going unclaimed on waivers. The obvious answer is cap hit. He's burned several hundred thousand by now and will cost pennies on the dollar by next month.
